Pollinator Week 2011 - June 20 - 26

To celebrate Pollinator Week 2011, I'll be doing Storytime at Borders Books 1664 NW Chipman Rd - Lee's Summit, MO - Monday June 20 at 10:30 am.  We'll celebrate our important pollinators by reading my first released book of a series on pollinators titled "Welcome Back North" Gems from the Garden. There will be a coloring contest for the children with prizes. Framed images from the book will be on display so the children can see how a monarch caterpillar becomes a beautiful butterfly. Monarchs are one of our important pollinators. Pictures will be posted soon from this event!
