There is a New Monarch in town! Enjoy Manny's Metamorphossis. The photos below will start with finding him when he was nearly a week old as a caterpillar munching away on milkweed. I placed a potted milkweed plant in my Butterfly Hut to capture his Metamorphosis. Manny is our first generation Monarch here this season. I was surprised to find him as early as I did. Manny emerged as a Beautiful Butterfly on 6-18-2009. We released Manny 6-19-09. Please click on the photos below for a larger view.
